Mechanical Engineering is a device for designing and manufacturing any engineering product seen around, starting from pin to spacecraft. Leading role of this discipline is evolving the “Engineering Science” and that will be a unique model. Faculty with excellent academic credential and hi-tech experience in their domain had a cascading effect on the expertise and competence of the department which has been appreciated by many eminent academicians and experts, visited us.

Percolation of the expertise and competence of the faculty into the students is one of our main domains of the teaching-learning process. Keeping in view the continuous faculty up gradation, dept. is nominating faculty members for different faculty development programmes.

Most of the classes are conducted through modern audio-visual techniques. Lecture notes/reading materials are given to the students before conducting the classes to be prepared for the classes. Self-learning through hard resources is the library, the knowledge center. Students are encouraged to visit self-learning soft resource centers like, NPTEL, MOOCs etc. Provision for lectures had been made these.

TECH-fest is one of the self-development opportunities, conducted in the campus. We give importance to communication skill –MIS- graphs and charts, academic honesty, ethical behavior, integrity, personality development.
